Graeme Dingle Foundation
The Graeme Dingle Foundation has been supporting tamariki and rangatahi across Aotearoa to realise their potential for over 25 years. Our Kiwi Can life skills and values programme is currently being delivered to over 20,000 primary-aged ākonga in partnership with more than 100 schools. The Wā Kāinga programme enhancement will be woven through Kiwi Can’s weekly lessons investigating themes of Pono/Integrity, Manawaroa/Resilience, Whakawhanaungatanga/Positive Relationships and Whakaute/Respect. Wā Kāinga will enhance the wellbeing, identity, and culture of ākonga. They will explore how their unique self and personal mana connect Te Ao Māori, Aotearoa New Zealand histories and the world around them. The foundation will draw on community resources to access local and iwi knowledge, encourage the use of Te Reo Māori to support our national identity and reduce barriers to increase engagement for all ākonga.

Telling Your Stories
"Step through the gateway now to stories that are as relevant today as they ever were” - Witi Ihimaera
This project empowers ECE/Schools/Kāhui Ako to tell their story, the history of their school, their community and to access local history and stories by providing them with a long-lasting set of resources that will:
- support the enactment of their local curriculum
- provide authentic access to local history through Te Whāriki and the NZC
- strengthen and grow the relationships learners have with local iwi and hapū
- build teacher capability to integrate local stories into the curriculum.
This project provides a link between authentic local stories and the ancient craft of kōrero tuku iho. This project authentically links local stories to learning while seamlessly weaving them across the curriculum. The project is running across Aotearoa.
